90 minutes in heaven
I recently read a book titled 90 Minutes in Heaven. The book starts with the crash that lead to the death of a preacher, and then details the 90 minutes he spent in heaven, at the gates and the subsequent agony of his return. The focus is on the reality of heaven and the contrast with earthly pain. It is an amazing journey of self realization as he learns to allow others to minister to him, and to open up to share his story. It is worth the read - the reminder of the reality of faith - the power of prayer and community is powerful.

I read it in the last year as well and was intrigued by it. it was interesting to hear some people dismiss it because it was outside of their experience and God-box. I cannot explain it, but I don't think my inability to explain it invalidates this man's experience, his book, nor how God can use it. how sad that some are so quick to find fault....Have you read The Shack? I haven't YET, but it has been received similary to this book.
